Library
The Library and Study Area occupy a central place in College and provide an impressive educational support service for all members of the College community.
The book stock stands at over 18,000 volumes, with newspapers and periodicals providing current affairs information. We subscribe to a wide range of journals covering many A Level subjects and professions, and an extensive archive of these is available for research purposes.
The large fiction section is constantly updated and is popular with users. Students are encouraged to widen their reading experience by taking part in our ‘Greenhead Reading Challenge’. Subject specific reading lists are also available to encourage reading beyond the curriculum.
The Library provides a quiet and comfortable working environment with 173 study spaces, 16 computer desks and 20 laptops available to use at any desk, together with a printer, scanner and photocopier. Further quiet study provision is available in the Study Area where there are 52 computers and a further 60 individual study places, with on hand IT help and study support available.
